Manifest என்று ஒரு வார்த்தை. உணர்ந்ததை நிகழ்த்துவது என்பது போன்று பொருள்பட. பகவான் சொல்வதென்ன? இயல்பிலேயே மனிதப் பிறவி மாசற்றது. நல்லன அல்லாததும், பலவீனமானதும் எவை எனில் மனிதனின் பழக்க வழக்கங்களும், மனதில் தோன்றும் எண்ணங்களும், ஆசைகளும் தான். 

 

இதில் பகவான் உணர்த்துவது என்ன?

 

தெரிந்தோ தெரியாமலோ, அறிந்தோ அறியாமலோ பலவீனங்களுக்கு உட்பட்டுவிட்டால், தீர்வே கிடையாதா?  உண்டு என்பது தான் பகவான் உணர்த்துவது. இந்த உலக இயக்கங்கள் எல்லாம் மகத்தான சக்தியின்பால் நடக்கிறது தான்.  ஒரு வினோதம் என்னவென்றால் கடவுள் எல்லாம் தானே செய்வதென்றும், மனிதன் ஒன்றுமே செய்யாமல் தான்தோன்றியாக இருக்கட்டும் என்று விட்டு விடவில்லை. மனிதனுக்குள் சிறிது அறிவு படைத்து, மனிதன் மேன்மையுறட்டும் என்றும் கருதி பல செயல்களை மனிதனிடத்தே இறைவன் விட்டு வைத்திருக்கிறான்.

 

பகவான் மட்டுமா  நம்மை நாமே சீர் செய்து கொள்ள இயலும் என்கிறார்?  சான்றோர் பலரும்  அதே கருத்தை வெவ்வேறு விதமாக வலியுறுத்தி இருக்கிறார்கள்.

By the time I finish this piece, I wouldn't be wrong, if I presume that AI has already read my mind - about what I'm about to write on it.

May be you can murmur, I'm making much ado about nothing. If you have any such notion, please change pretty fast for God's sake. Now AI is competing real human intelligence at supersonic speed.

Now turn left, turn right ....turn any side, every one, even every Tom, Dick and Harry speak more with AI than even to his kith and kin.

Some real life scenarios:

I. Chennai Mega 📚 Book Fair 2026

At every Annual Book fair I buy quite a number of books. The list includes Brother Soma Valliappan's new titles. He is used to autograph his books that his readers buy. This time he asked me whether I bought his latest title about the Monstrous AI. Of course, quite some days ago, prior to Book fair time, I read his article on AI in a daily. I bought the his book on AI, but am yet to read it. Will share my reading experience once I read it.

II A recent representation before a Learned Assessing Officer:

A client had sold about 5, 6 plots. On the consideration difference between actual sale price and Registrar's assessed value, there was a scrutiny covering just a few properties and not the entire sold properties. Despite Registrar's adoption of a particular value for a property, it could be possible for myriad reason, one may not find a buyer at such high valuation. It happened so in the client's case. Later the client preferred reference to valuation by Department valuer(DVO). The DVO visited the locality, did see the ground reality and assessed at a slightly lower valuation. Now seeing that the other plots were missed out for scrutiny, the appellate authority called for remand report from the jurisdiction officer after giving an opportunity of being heard to the client. Fortunately the entire plots were in the same locality sequentially. We contented that the same DVO's valuation held good for the other plots also.

Though the officer could see the merit in the contention, she was not sure of her authority to accept our view. She immediately hit AI and tried to find out whether she could statutoriliy make her own opinion and report back to appellate authority.

III Own property sale, will it qualify as business asset and be eligible for presumptive taxation for a much lower, meagre deemed surplus?

AI in no second answered in the negative with elaborative reasoning based on tax statutes.

IV About Thindal Murugan Temple 

I just keyed in to Gemini AI to get details of Thindal Murugan Temple.

As if I asked a friend knowing about the place, in seconds it kept answering me and asked what further, more information I needed. It even referred to Arunagirinathar's covering one hymn on Thindal Murugan in his Tiruppugazh.

There was q & a soon after his address. Boys from Padma Seshadri and Vidya Mandir were asking. One boy asked the same, if AI's data is wrong, could Corporates go blindly after that?

Mr Panajpe's answer: No, the responsibility and accountability still lies with Corporate.

Yet the greatest power is at the command of the man who has penetrated to his inmost depth.... What is the use of knowing about everything else when you do not yet know who you are? God, on being worshipped, bestows steadiness in devotion which leads to surrender. On the devotee surrendering, God shows His mercy by manifesting as the Guru. "குருவடிவாகி குவலயம் தன்னில்"

ஔவையார் விநாயகப் பெருமானே குருவாக வந்து உபதேசிப்பதாக விநாயகர் அகவலில் பாடியிருக்கிறார். நமக்கெல்லாம். கோவில்களில் பக்தர் கூட்டம் நிரம்பித் தழும்புகிறது. இருந்தும் எங்கோர் மூலையில், கண்டவர் விண்டதில்லை, விண்டவர் கண்டதில்லை முனு முனுப்பது நடந்து கொண்டு தான் இருக்கிறது. ஸ்வாமி விவேகானந்தரே பகவான் ராமகிருஷ்ணரிடம் கடவுள் எங்கே கேட்கிற நிலையில் நாம் எல்லாம் எம்மாத்திரம். இது போன்ற தத்தளிக்கும் தருணங்களில் தோன்றுபவர்களே பகவான் ரமண மகரிஷி போன்ற மஹான்கள். 

கடவுளின் சிருஷ்டியில் அடிப்படையான தாத்பரியம் இயல்பிலே மகிழ்வுடன் - happy ஆக இருப்பது தான். பின் எங்கே வந்தது கவலைகள், துயரங்கள். இந்த மாயா உலகிலே ஆசைகள், அதன் பொருட்டு ஓடிக் கொண்டே இருப்பதில், அவா நிறைவுறாத போது துயரங்கள். எந்த உயரத்தை அடைந்தால் மகிழ்ச்சி. ஆசைகளுக்கு அளவே இல்லை. ஒன்று நிறைவேறினால் மற்றொண்டு. ஓய்வு, ஒழிச்சலே இல்லை. பின் எங்கிருந்து தன் இயல்பான சுவாபத்தை மனிதன் உணர்வது.

ஒரு அன்பர் மலை ஏறி வந்து பகவானிடம், "ஸ்வாமி எனக்கு ஏதேனும் உபதேசியுங்கள்", என்றாராம். பகவான், " நான் என்ன சொல்வது?" என்று கூறியதும், அன்பர் முகம் வாடினார். அன்பரின் மன நிலையறிந்த பகவான், "உன்னை விடாமல் பற்றிக்கொள் ."

பகவான் சொன்னது உடனடியாகப் புரியாவிட்டாலும், அன்பர் மகிழ்வுடன் திரும்பினார். பின் he contemplated on the essence of what Bhagavan said.

மனது மாய மந்திரங்கள் செய்து இயல்புநிலையில் இருந்து அடங்காத குதிரையாக ஓடித் திரிவது. களைத்து மீண்டும் இயல்பு நிலைக்கு வரவேண்டும் என்பது எழுதப் படாத நியதி.

Sunandaji was giving an analogy. Analogy of two brass vessels of equal measurement. One was extraordinarily bright and brilliant. The other was damn dull and tarnished. The latter one when cleansed became as brilliant and bright as the other one. The real nature is to remain bright.

📞 calls.....to answer or .....not?

A kin kept calling me.

I didn't have the assertive answer he was looking for. Not that I didn't want to answer his call. I didn't pick up the calls, and that was the time we were too tied to meet compliance due dates.

Yet again, the kin called.

I took the line, the kin didn't wait for me to say, hello. He started bombarding. I remained silent throughout his downpour. I believe in Eckhart's saying every swirling 🎩 Top has to lose its momentum. 

In this hand phone world, it's (mis) taken as discourtesy if the one at the other end didn't pick the call. It didn't matter in what situation the other one was.

A few days later I shared with the kin why it - not picking up the call - shouldn't be mistaken and tendered my apology.

It was psychological. He shot back a rejoinder raining advices on picking up calls and not stopping just with that, he went on further. I am used to share nice quotes if appealing to good friends and relatives. I take care while sending and choose to share with only to whom I feel they may like it. The kin too was in the list. His, - being elder is taken for granted to be a qualification to advice - advice: "Quoting may be easy. We all live in a practical world. Practising isn't that easy."

Just then a friend shared an excerpt from writer Balakumaran. I immediately forwarded the same to the kin along with a write up. Here they are.

The worst deficit

In the world is 

Not any fiscal deficit.

Insufficiency is in

Failing to respect 

The spouse.

Not just respect 

Between one spouse to the 

Other.

Helpless to see

In this patriarchy,

Patriarchy maze even

In twentieth century,

Not mere chauvinism thrives,

Worse and painsome is

 it's not all that rosy

On feminine side in

Families when it 

Comes to respecting 

Each other.

It takes a

Bhagavan Ramakrishna

To celebrate His

Better off,

Ma Sarada Devi.

Every devotee

கடவுளோடு ஓர் உரையாடல்...a dialogue...with God

கடவுளோடு ஓர் உரையாடல்.

கடவுளா?!

பின் உரையாடலா?!!

விண்டவர் கண்டதில்லை,

கண்டவர் விண்டதில்லை,

பின் எங்கே கடவுள்?

விவேகானந்தரே வினவியது அல்லவா,

பரமஹம்சரிடம்.

பரமஹம்சரின்

சூக்ஷும தீக்ஷை,

நரேந்திரர் விவேகானந்தரானார்.

கடவுள்,

இறைவன்,

மஹா சக்தியால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்படுகிறார்.

தீக்ஷையோ,

மந்திர ஜபமோ 

இறையில் செலுத்தும் 

நல் வழிகள். 

ஞானிக்கோ ஆன்ம விசாரம்.

மனம் ஒடுங்கி இறையில் 

ஆழ்கையில் 

எங்கே விசாரம்,

உரையாடல் -

கடவுளுடன்?

ஆம் மௌன -

ஆழ்ந்த, பேரானந்தப் 

பெருவெளியில் -

மனோ லயமே 

உரையாடல்,

வார்த்தைகளின்றி,

இறையே தான் ஆன பின்.

Then where is God?

Wasn't it Vivekananda who asked,

To the Paramahamsa.

Through the Paramahamsa's

Subtle initiation (diksha),

Naren became Swami Vivekananda.

Fully  grasped by divine power.

Initiation (diksha),

Mantra japa,

Are noble paths

 that lead to the divine.

For the jnani (sage), 

self-inquiry.

When the mind stills 

and dives deep into the divine,

Where is inquiry,

Dialogue—With God?

Yes, silence—In the profound,

 blissful vast expanse—

The dissolution of the mind itself

Is the conversation,

Without words,

Only after becoming 

one with the divine.

The Infinite..... காலமெல்லாம்

Einstein சொல்வது sarcastic ஆகத் தோன்றக் கூடும். அவர் சொன்னதில் ஒரு paradox இருக்கிறது. தெரிகிறதா?

கால பரிமாணங்களுக்கு உட்படாத - infinite - இரண்டு சமாசாரங்களில் முதலாவதாக பிரபஞ்சத்தை - universe ஐ குறிப்பிடுகிறார் in the affirmative.

Only when he refers to the certainty of stupidity, he says he was unsure of former, ie is universe.

Clearer answer is in Bhagavan's famous question, 'who am I?'.

If Hanuman is Shreshta Bhaktha of Lord Ram, yes Lord Hanuman is in a way Easwar 's Bhaktha. For, Lord Ram did the prathishta of Lord Ramanatha Swamy at Rameswaram.

[ ] 5.30 pm., 🙏 Prayers at Ramana Kendra, Chrompet and dhyan there.

[ ] 6.30 visit to AM Jain College ground, opp Airport to take part in Mahashivratri Isha celebrations.

[ ] 8 pm back home for a hot horlicks drink and watching various channels tele-casting Shivratri festivities for sometime.

[ ] 10 pm write ✍️ a piece how private temples can leverage various court decisions to guard themselves from the clutches of misused laws. Thanks to fillip by a CA friend and his lawyer on Inspiration in this regard. Also about how AI came handy in my exploration and a little research on the subject, how it helped me in distilling essence from the lengthy maze of provisions. And try drafting a specimen private trust deed for temples.

எழுத்தாணி - writing tool... once upon a time

சிறுவனாய் இருந்த போது எங்கள் ஐயா - தாத்தா - எழுத்தாணி - sharp writing tool - கொண்டு பனை ஓலையில் இசைகுடிமானம் எழுதுவதைப் பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். இசைகுடிமானம் என்பது நகரத்தார் இல்லங்களில் திருமண நாளன்று திருப்பூட்டியதும் இரு வீட்டுப் பெரியவர்களும் பதிவு செய்து கொள்ளும் மணப் பத்திரம். இன்று இது போன்று ஏடுகளில் எழுதாமல் அச்சடித்த சிறிய பதிவேட்டில் எழுதிக் கொள்கிறார்கள். திருப்பூட்டுவது என்பது உற்றார், உறவினர் ஆசியுடன் மணமகன் மணமகளுக்கு மங்கள நாண், திருமாங்கல்யம் அணிவித்து திருமண நிகழ்வை தெரிவிப்பது. என்னதான் நவீனம் என்றாலும், பழமையை சில தருணங்களிலாவது தவிர்ப்பது கஷ்டமாக இருக்கிறது, குறிப்பாக, இசைகுடிமானம் எழுதும்போது. At least we can use these parallelly. இவ்வாறு செய்கிற போது எழுத்தாணி போன்ற பொருட்கள் just museum piece ஆக மட்டுமே ஆகாது. எழுதுகிற வழக்கம் காலப் போக்கில் கரைந்து விடாது தொடரும்.

சைவ சமயத்தை வாழ்வியலாகக் கொண்ட நகரத்தார் இல்லங்களில் எல்லாம் தேவாரம், திருவாசகம், திருமுறைகள் தாங்கிய ஓலைச் சுவடிகள் இரண்டு மூன்று தலைமுறைகள் முன்பு நம் பாட்டையாக்கள் அதீத கவனம் மேற்கொண்டு பாதுகாத்து வந்தனர்.  இன்றைய நிலை தெரியவில்லை.

தமிழ்க் காவலர்கள் என்று பறை சாற்றிக்கொண்டு தாளில் இருக்கும் தமிழையே பிழை இன்றிப் பேசத் திணறும் இவர்கள் தமிழைக் காத்தால், தலை வணங்குவோம். 

 எஞ்சி, மிஞ்சிய ஓலைச் சுவடிகளை மிகுந்த சிரமங்களுக்கு இடையே படாத பாடு பட்டு மீட்டு எடுத்து இன்றைய தலைமுறை தெரிந்து கொள்ளச் செய்த

Yes words are so powerful - they can make or Mar. Saint Valluvar in His Master Treatise, திருக்குறள் was so emphatic on saying only good things and saying preferably euphemistically. Sample:

இனிய உளவாக இன்னாத கூறல்

கனிஇருப்பக் காய்கவர்ந் தற்று.  

The Author of this nice gem liberally uses Saint's couplets in right contexts across the book. She just doesn't confine to Kural only. She quotes from Hindu Epics, western literatures and interlaces striking short stories. All to stress why to speak only positives.

One excerpt to show why it makes the must read and must adhere to:

"வார்த்தை பலிக்குமா என்றால் நான் ஏதோ ஒரு ஆத்திரத்தில் சொன்னேன் பலித்து விட்டதே என்று புலம்பும் நிலையில் இருப்பவருக்குத் தெரியும் அது உண்மை தான் என்று."

 So good is this 📚 book and my current read. I'm just midway....can vouch how it impacts. I can feel, there's a consciousness, a sort of measure before words popping out from me.

The contents are in 151 pages and 16 chapters.

Deserves deep and meticulous reading. Would highly recommend.

புதிதாய் ஒன்றா? Are we...? or becoming,

இருபது வருடங்களுக்கு முன்.

ஒரு புதிய இளம் தொழிலதிபர் ஆலோசனைகளுக்கு அவ்வப்பொழுது சந்திப்பார். வரும்பொழுதெல்லாம் மிடுக்காக Safari suit, branded shoes இல் வருவார். பின்னொரு முறை தூய வெள்ளாடைகளில் - வேஷ்டி, கதர் சட்டை அணிந்து கால்களில் காலனி இல்லாமல் நெற்றி நிறைய திருநீறும், மனக்க மணக்க சந்தனத் திலகமுமாய் ஊடே குங்குமத் திலகத்துடன் சாக்ஷாத் சிவனே காட்சி அளிப்பது போல் பிரசன்னமானார்.

என் புருவ மேலிடுதலை குறிப்பறிந்த அன்பர், அவர் அன்றைய அவதாரப் பின்புலத்தை சற்றே விளக்கினார். அன்றைய தினம் அவரின் முப்பாட்டனார் sanyasa தீக்ஷா பெற்று குடும்ப பந்தங்களில் இருந்து விடுபட்ட நாளாம். ஆண்டு தோறும் குரு பூஜை நிகழ்கிறது.

தானும் அவ்வண்ணமே முப்பாட்டனார் வழி பற்றி ஒரு நாள் ஆகி விட விரும்புவதாகத் தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.

நான் அமைதியாயிருந்தேன்.

ஏன் அமைதியாய் இருக்கிறீர்கள் என்றார்.

மனதில் அந்த நிமிடத்தில் தோன்றியதைத் தெரிவித்தேன். தவறா, சரியா இறைவனுக்கே வெளிச்சம்.

புதிதாக யாரும் புத்தானகப் போவதில்லை. இது ஏதும் பிசினஸ் Target ஓ, plan ஓ இல்லை. ஆகாயம் எப்பொழுதும் இருப்பது தான். தோன்றி மறையும் மேகங்கள் மேகங்களே ஆகாயம் போன்ற தோற்ற மாயையை ஏற்படுத்தி விடுகின்றன.

சிறிது நேரம் நித்சலனம், பேரமைதி.

நண்பர் விடை பெற்றார். எழுந்து செல்கையில், புத்தனே அழகாக எழுந்து நடந்து செல்வது போல் இருந்தது.

Ego....go...a big bubble...... தான் எனும் பூஜ்யம்....VACUUM....0000000

தான் தான் 

அனைத்தும் - Ego,

அனைவரும் -

குறிப்பாக உறவு முறைகளில்,

தன் சொல்,

- சரியாய் இருந்தாலும், இல்லாவிடினும்,

கேட்க வேண்டும் 

என்றால்

பரஸ்பரம் என்பது எங்கே.

இங்கே யார் பெரிது,

யார் சிறிது?

யார் உயர்வு,

யார் தாழ்வு?!

தான் தான் 

மேலிடுகிற பொழுது

பிறருக்கும் இல்லை.
