GOD PHENOMENON...
The irony or beauty,
As you may call it
GOD or
No God.
The One saying
No God
Does not just fool himself,
But he knows not
That he tries
Fooling others
As well.
Either consciously
Or Not.
Well,
What about the one
Saying God?!
Does he
Enlighten any one?
The answer seems
Elusive.
For, enlightenment is
A strange phenomenon
That it Crashes down
Like an avalanche.
மறைபொருளாய் நழுவும்விடை;
wrapping up quote:
“the First Insight is an awareness of the mysterious occurrences that change one’s life, the feeling that some other process is operating.”

Sukshuma sarira - the astral body
My question to AI:
Osho uses this metaphor, 'astral
body' in his writings. Is it the same
what Maha Swami refers to as sukshuma sarira?
Sarvashri AI:
Yes, Osho's "astral
body" and Maha Swami’s (Maha Periyava) "sukshma sarira" refer to
the same overarching metaphysical layer of existence, but they are framed
within completely different maps of consciousness. While both point to the intangible,
non-physical vehicle that carries memories, desires, and karmic imprints across
lifetimes, their technical breakdowns differ.
Coming back to our scribbling:
At the outset like AI gives its
disclaimer, the Readers may do their independent reading, research, consulting
experts before they make their conclusion.
When I read the word disclaimer,
one quintessential குறள்
that splashes is, with due respects to all,
"எப்பொருள் யார்யார்வாய்க்
கேட்பினும் அப்பொருள் மெய்ப்பொருள் காண்ப தறிவு".
Back again to the topic:
Sukshuma sarira - the astral body
Is there a layer beyond physical
frame whether in lifetime or several life times?
What?! Several life times????!!!
Is it matter for scientists or
health experts to make their own theories?
Not for an ordinary man or lay
individual?
May other religions wouldn't
subscribe and endorse that there is nothing, literally away when one's life
ends. Their notion is everything ends with the last breath and no thing,
nothing beyond.
But we believe in karmic
succession life after life, karmic effect trails regardless of whether we do
good or not so good - punya or to say bluntly paba, . Like camphor dissolves and go traceless, the
karmic effects travel ceaselessly until the time total liberation happens.
Karma just does not restrict itself to doing anything physically; it involves
how soulfully we do a work also.
We are not here to prove
anything. It is up to one to have one's
own perspective.
Yet, we could refer to a real
life incident that Osho narrated in his 'Hidden Mysteries':
He cites the real life story of
Edgar Cayce, a devout Christian who died in 1945. Edgar had a fall from a
tree. The treating doctors had almost given up. To them, Cayce in
deep coma, could die any moment. Suddenly even as he was in coma, to the
shock of the Doctors, he uttered certain herbal compound could get him back on
the feet. The herbs had to be mobilized. Doctors felt why not we
try. They did and Cayce was back on his feet. The wow thing is Cayce
was not any expert in any herbs in his current Avatar. The herbs he
referred to were all remnants of his memory spread over various births.

NO MIND ......
There is a
notion.
That getting
to know one’s true self is a matter to pursue in the evening of one’s
life. Not when one is in the prime of
youth, to earn a livelihood, look after family.
Not an urgency, nor a priority.
How naïve that
notion seems to be?
Bhagavan
elsewhere asks what use is it of to know all else except one’s own true
self. How do we know the true self?
Is there a
method?
Bhagavan says
the only way how you can is through His potent question:
“WHO AM I?”
Enquiring
into one’s own self – Atma vicharaa.
Rumi queries,
"And you? When will you begin
that long journey into yourself?”
Right the emphasis is on getting to
know one’s true self.
The vichara way when it sets you into
chidswarupa- transcendental state, you are not lazing around. Your real dynamo sparks even more brightly,
and your work whatever it is shines, excels and would be more aesthetic.

IS MIND AN ENTITY?
IS MIND AN ENTITY?
In the Bhagavan’s message, there is a reference to killing of mind preceded by killing of E…GO.
No need to say it’s not in literal sense…. that pluck out your mind.
All we know is,
If you direct your eyes to shut, it will obey, the same way with mouth.
But the mind is naughty, it isn’t that obedient.
Always is a ceaseless chatter-box.
What Bhagavan meant when He referred to…..killing mind is, it’s an exercise in calming the racy mind,
To quieten it and to bring to complete tranquility.
What’s that exercise?
Dhyan is that magic.
Is it – the Dhyan, the Meditation, hard, hard to learn, hard to practice?
The answer is no.
If not, what is the hurdle that blocks you?
Our Mind-set.
All that is required is put out that mind-set, mind-block.
Next question is why one should do it?
That why would put you on to contemplation and eventually you will unfailingly arrive at the need to do dhyan. Even before knowing the significance of doing Meditation, the benefits of the practice.
Once you get hooked to it even for a fraction of a second, you will fall in love with it.
How long to practice in a single session?
Absolutely no hard and fast rule.
It can be as mini, micro as 2 to 3 minutes and you can have a little longer like 20 minutes.
The Why dhyan?
The world as you see today is show of one-upmanship, expansionism, resultant conflict, absence of Peace.
It’s for the very Peace of one’s own, Peace of neighbor that the practice of dhyan is all the more essential.

Likhita Japa……….Prayer by writing
Likhita Japa……….Prayer by writing
But do we have to write, or be so big a soul to write
to invoke Godliness?
The other day I read a passage from Shri M.P. Pandit
about writing a page from Savithiri, the Poems of Sri Aurobindo. Like we see people writing Ohm Namashivaya,
Sri Ramajayam etc.
He advised that while writing, we don’t have to try to
grasp the meaning. If we know the
meaning, it’s well and good. I shared
Shri Pandit’s following passage with Friends and Relatives. Prior to it my knowledge about Sri
Aurobindo’s Savithiri was literally nil, though I heard the title Savithiri.
Here is the excerpt of the message of Shri Pandit. He was Personal Secretary to Mother at the
Asram.
Excerpt of the Message:

Reading above:
An aunt sent a pictorial feedback, the picture depicting
folded palms.
When I was returning in train, got a similar feedback
from a sister.
Soon she called up and asked me if I could explain the
passage – my God, I shared that as I liked it and felt it could sooth many
strained nerves. Beyond the same my
familiarity with Shri Aurobindo’s divine literature is almost negligible. And in the passing train speed, we had tele
connection disruptions. I told her when
I get back and find time, I would send in a Note of what I felt and understood
of the message.
Keeping justice to my promise, I just sent following
piece of writing to her:
“Deeply
appreciate your interest. Thanks to you
I just sought help of AI and it got me the inspiring intro to Aurobindo's poem,
Savithiri. Aurobindo interpreted the
Story of Savithiri - Sathyavan from Mahabharath in poetic form. Ligitha jabam is, if I understand it
right, like chanting orally, you do it by writing. Like you would have seen people writing in
Note books, Sri Rama Jayam, Ohm Namashivaya, Sai Ram et al. While writing, your full focus is on
writing, if one writes sincerely. Here
grasping meaning is secondary. While you
are fully on it, it has a healing power, you feel more relaxed. And start looking at your concerns, problems
in a newer dimension. More than all, you
would feel some divine force is handholding you and you would feel highly safe
like a baby in the Mother's laps. May
God bless you and your family. Have a
great time. Had you been to Aurobindo
Asram in Pondicherry?”.
Her prompt reply
was:
“I want to go there
- Asram before I start writing”.
What else would I
say? I said, “See, it's Mother's
calling, you are a blessed soul. God bless”.
Yeah.
God Bless All.
May Peace
prevail.
