I'm still an அபிமானி of Shri K Annamalai, IPS.

But no hesitation, absolutely no mincing of words....Vociferously I don't endorse his Pollachi views on above topic...., மத அடையாளங்களை வீட்டில் பூட்டி வைப்பது.

Why I use the expression, 'his Pollachi views on above topic', probably he may change the same view later. After all he jettisoned his parent party.

நமக்கு, நமக்குப் பிடித்த அன்பர்களே எது சொல்லியிருந்தாலும், நாம் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நினைவில் கொள்வது ஐயன் வள்ளுவப் பெருந்தகையின்,

"எப்பொருள் யார்யார்வாய்க் கேட்பினும் அப்பொருள்மெய்ப்பொருள் காண்ப தறிவு.",

என்கிற குறள் தான்.

Contrast Pollachi views on Religion, I feel Prof Srinivasan is fair, in good clarity. When we express any view, it requires all the more care and responsibility - that what we say shouldn't misguide, lead to blind belief. Same time, when much slandering, mud slinging is done, remaining mute is not sagacious. Else the bullies would go overboard.

I'm afraid whether there's a single word most distorted like the word, Religion.

We are in fact a dharmic - living righteous way - system more than in the sense of a Religion so named as Hindu. British chose to call us Hindus.

We owe rich culture to Vedic Era.

In fact we can pose to the world the question,

" Where is hatred in our system? Do we say one religion is either superior or inferiour to the other?".

What more testimonies we need than the following so all embracing thoughts:

Rig Veda : Let noble thoughts come from All sides.Aano bhadra krtavo yantu vishwatah'

Maha Upanishad: " Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" - the entire world is one family.

கணியன் பூங்குன்றனார்: "யாதும் ஊரே யாவரும் கேளிர்"
