பேட்டி கண்டவரின் கேள்வி,

' மறு பிறவி உண்டா?'.

Dr க்கு அந்த நேரத்தில் தோன்றிய பதிலாக இருந்திருக்க வேண்டும்,

" தெரியாது ".

பகவத் கீதையில் ஆழ்ந்த ஞானம் உள்ள அவருக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருந்திருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை.

புனரபி ஜனனம் 

புனரபி மரணம்.

அது எழுதப் படாத விதி.

நல்லது செய்தாலும் அதன் பலனை அனுபவிக்க மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பிறந்தாக வேண்டும்.

பாவ வினைகளைத் தீர்ப்பதற்கும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஜனனம் எடுக்க வேண்டும்.

அதனால் தான் இம்மையும், மறுமையும்,

இம்மை - மறுமை சுழற்சியும் இல்லாத 

இறை நிலை ஒன்றே யான் வேண்டுவதாக நமது சமயத்தில்

துதிப் பாடல்கள் ஏராளம் ஏராளம்.

இறைவனே! என்னைக் காப்பாற்று!

புனரபி ஜனனம் புனரபி மரணம்

புனரபி ஜனனி ஜட2ரே ச’யனம் |

இஹ ஸம்ஸாரே ப3ஹு து3ஸ்தாரே

க்ருபயாsபாரே பாஹி முராரே ||

மறுபடியும் பிறப்பு; மறுபடியும் இறப்பு; என்று மாறி மாறி வருகின்றன. மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஒரு தாயின் வயிற்றில் வாசம் செய்ய வேண்டிவருகிறது. இப்படி முடிவே இல்லாத பிறப்பு, இறப்பு என்னும் சுழலில் சிக்கி உள்ளேன். கரை காணமுடியாத இந்த உலக வாழ்விலிருந்து கருணையுடன் நீ தான் என்னைக் கரை சேர்க்க வேண்டும்.
