Why shy away from a Sangi?

In the world ,
Free world
It's one's choice
To get enlightened
Or
To fool oneself.

Many on the other side
Rejoice themselves
Under hallucination
That they have belittled
சங்கிs -
Wilfully planting hatred
In people off Hinduism
Towards Hindus.

What they don't want is
Our brothers and sisters from
Other Religions should
Never get an idea -
That Hinduism is
All embracing one.

Where else do you
Hear:
वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (vasudhaiva kuTumbakam)
-  Mantra VI - 72 in Maha Upanishad which belongs to sAmaveda. - the whole world is one family, if we literally see it may mean.  In fact it carries the profound philosophy of non-duality, Advaita.

महावीर विक्रम बजरंगी, कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी
O Mahavir Bajrang Bali! You are the Eternal Mighty. You remove the evil intellect and are the companions of the wise.

Sangi as in Hanuman Chalisa by Thulsidas
Refers to a good friend, of good conducts.

Why shy away from a Sangi?

In fact one only enriches one's values from a Sangi,  Adi Shankaracharya beautifully elucidates it in His Bhaja Govindram:

Satsangatve nissangatvam

Nissangatve nirmohatvam

Nirmohatve nischalatattvam

Nischalatattve jeevanmuktih” --Bhajagovindam (9)

“Through the company of the good, there arises non-attachment; through non-attachment there arises freedom from delusion; through freedom from delusion there arises steadfastness; through steadfastness, there arises liberation in life”- Bhajagovindam .

It's apt to wrap it up with a Verse from Bible:

"Wisdom flows from the mouth of the Righteous”—(Proverbs 10-31)
