நல்லவரோடு பழகு
सत्सङ्गत्वे निस्सङ्गत्वं
निस्सङ्गत्वे निर्मोहत्वम् ।
निर्मोहत्वे निश्चलितत्त्वं
निश्चलितत्त्वे जीवन्मुक्तिः ॥
satsaṅgatve nissaṅgatvaṃ
nissaṅgatve nirmohatvam ।
nirmohatve niścalitattvaṃ
niścalitattve jīvanmuktiḥ ॥
கொண்டு வந்தது
யாதொன்றும் இல்லை.
கொண்டு செல்வதும்
யாதொன்றும் இல்லை.
நல்லோருடன் பழகுதல்
பற்று அற்ற நிலை உண்டாகும்.
பற்று அற்ற நிலையில்
மாயை அகலும்.
மாயை அகன்றால்
தான் - self, the reality -
யார் எனப் புரியும்.
தான் யார் என உணர்ந்த
நிலையே
முக்தி நிலையாகும்.

Born free,
And passing away
Empty handed,
Befriend the good Souls,
And get detached.
Detached
You just aren't detached
From desires,
You get detached from
Delusions.
Away from delusions -
The maya worlds,
Liberated you are
And realize the Truth,
Truth that
is Self.
So enlightened
So free you are.
